You can register online. In order to book a course, please, fill the\u00a0availability form<\/a>. Reservations will only be confirmed once a deposit of 100\u20ac for the course has been received, or 200\u20ac for both a course and accommodation.
To reserve a beach apartment the deposit required is 25% of the total cost. Cancellations will be subject to additional charges.

Once we receive your registration form, you will be sent your booking confirmation along with your course information. When booking a shared apartment, the exact accommodation details will be sent the same day the reservation is confirmed (in high season this information may only be available a few days before arrival). You must provide the school with the email address where you would like this correspondence to be sent. If the payment is not made in advance, we cannot provide you with our exact accommodation details. All receipts must be kept, as it is necessary to present them on arrival. In cases where there is an outstanding payment, this must be paid in full on the first day of class.<\/p>

When booking private accommodation or a shared apartment, the student must provide the school with a credit card number as security in the event of any damages, breakages or loss of keys occurring. These details are to be provided on arrival.<\/p>

The prices of apartments with air conditioning include an allowance for responsible electricity use (100kw\/week). When students return their keys, the electricity meter will be checked and in the event of excessive use, the school will charge the student with the surplus amount including VAT.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The school will be closed on the national and local public holidays listed on the school calendar. For the intensive Spanish courses, these days will be partly made up over the week. This option is not applicable to our other courses. Please consult the school calendar available under the section \u2018Dates and Schedule<\/a>\u2019<\/p>

COURSE GROUPS AND TIMETABLES<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

On the intensive Spanish courses adult groups consist of between 3-10 students. For all other courses, both adult and children groups consist of between 4-12 students. If a particular level has less than 3 students then the number of lessons will be reduced. (For example: 3-10 students = 4 lessons, 2 students = 3 lessons, 1 student = 2 lessons).
The same topics will be covered regardless of the course duration, as smaller groups allow for more content to be covered in less time. The class timetable is divided into three possible blocks but the school cannot guarantee you classes at a specific time. This depends on several variables such as the courses that are already in place at that time, the number of students, the level, type of course etc. The timetable will be available the week before the start of the course. Summer courses option A and B for children have a set time: 9:30a.m to 2.p.m.<\/p>

TLCd\u00e9nia will organize it so that parents of these children who wish to study together can do so within the same time period. Classes are from Monday to Friday. Students can start a course on any given Monday except for complete beginners who must start on specific dates that can be found on our web page (www.tlcdenia.es) under the section \u2018Dates and Schedule<\/a>\u2019.<\/p>

The minimum age required to attend an adult group is 17, except for private classes or specific classes aimed at younger learners from 6 to 16 years old. The school reserves the right to make exceptions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

PRIVATE LESSONS<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Lessons are 45 minutes long. Prices include the use of materials during the course. When booking private lessons, the following terms and conditions must be accepted:<\/p>

Private lessons must be paid for before the lesson starts or immediately afterwards. Reservations for these classes must be made at least 48 hours before the desired class start time.<\/p>

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to inform the school that you wish to cancel a lesson or that you are unable to attend, will result in you being charged in full for the class.<\/p>

Students who arrive late will only be taught for the time remaining of the original lesson. We advise students to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before class.<\/p>

Students must be well behaved in class. TLCd\u00e9nia reserves the right of admission to class.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The National Health Service provides medical help for all European Union citizens, as long as they present an E-111 form or a European Health Card. This can be obtained from the Post Office or the National Health Service in your country before coming to Spain. Do not forget to bring the original with you.<\/p>

Non-European citizens must consult their own country\u2019s health service for information regarding making a medical claim in Spain.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We recommend that all students take out travel insurance in their country of origin. This should cover all personal belongings and possibly medical treatment. The school is not responsible of these matters. TLCd\u00e9nia can provide you with great travel insurance rates. Ask for more information.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Students from the EU, Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Switzerland do not require a visa to enter nor to live in Spain. An identity card or passport is all that is required.
Students from the USA, Canada, Brazil, Israel, Japan, New Zealand and Australia do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days although they do require a visa for longer periods. Once in Spain, they can apply for an extension at the Police Station. Student visa applications must be handed in at the Spanish\u00a0<\/a>Embassy or Consulate in your country of origin.
Students coming from other countries usually need a visa and should contact their nearest Spanish Embassy or Consulate for further information.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

On the first day of your course you must arrive by 9.15a.m to register, receive the course material and go to class. Please go to the main centre located at 15, Barbacana Street. Courses begin at 9:30a.m unless otherwise stated.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

All students who a have prior knowledge of Spanish are required to take an online placement test at least one week before arrival. The test will be administered upon receiving their booking confirmation. This way the school will be able to correctly place all students in their corresponding level groups. Students will receive information on their level and timetable on the first day of class. Students will be informed by email in the event of their classes not starting at 9:30a.m.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

CANCELLATIONS<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Any cancellations must be made as soon as possible.
If made 21 days or more before the start of the course, a 60\u20ac cancellation fee will be charged.
If made 20 days or less before the start of the course, a 100\u20ac cancellation fee will be charged (or 200\u20ac in cases where accommodation was also booked).
The programmes for children Cocktail A (from 5 to 10 year olds) and Cocktail B (from 8 to 13 year olds)\u00a0only be cancelled up to 7 days before the beginning of the course.

Once your course has begun, no refunds will be given.
If for health or other justifiable reasons a student is forced to cancel or postpone their classes, the school will offer them opportunity to complete their studies at a later date, within a period of 1 year starting from the cancellation date. Under no circumstances will this option give grounds for a refund unless the student has valid cancellation insurance cover.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In the event that you need to change your course dates, accommodation requirements or other element of your course, you may do so at no extra charge provided that the changes made are for the same year. Any changes made 15 days before the beginning of the course will incur a fee of 30\u20ac. No changes will be accepted for bookings made by students with a study visa.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
